Premium calculator
The details you enter in the calculator (postcode, year of birth, deductible, accident cover, current health insurer) are processed only in your browser and are not sent to us. They appear in the address bar so that you can share a calculation or open it again later.
Quote and contact forms
When you request a quote, advice or a call back, we process the details you send us: title, name, address, email, phone, date of birth, nationality and residence permit, details of other people (name, date of birth, sex, occupation, family doctor), the chosen health insurer and model, deductible, accident cover, supplementary insurance, your current health insurer, your profile from the calculator, your message and your consent with date and time. We use them exclusively to handle your enquiry and to arrange a quote for you. We do not sell any data and only pass it on to the chosen health insurer with your consent.
Health information
For certain quotes, in particular for supplementary insurance, we ask about your state of health. This information is sensitive personal data (Art. 5 let. c FADP). We only process it with your express consent and only to clarify whether the health insurer will accept you. Only the people handling your enquiry have access to it.
Storage in our customer database
Your enquiry is automatically transferred to our customer database (FORMGEN), which we operate with Metanet AG on servers in Switzerland. As a safeguard, we also receive a copy of every enquiry by email at info@neutrale-versicherungsberatung.com, and a copy is stored with our hosting provider Netlify (see “Hosting and forms”).
Hosting and forms
The website and the forms are operated by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Netlify processes the data as our processor, forwards your enquiry to our customer database and keeps a copy until we delete it. The data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the Swiss Federal Council), as the provider is certified accordingly, and on the basis of standard contractual clauses adapted to Swiss law. In addition, the transfer is based on your express consent, which you give before submitting the form (Art. 16 para. 2 let. d and Art. 17 para. 1 let. a FADP). If you voluntarily upload your current policy in the quote form (PDF or photo), the file is also stored with Netlify and used only by us to process your enquiry. We receive it as an e-mail attachment and via a non-public download link in our customer database.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and to manage your insurance contract, or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. If no contract is concluded, we delete your enquiry as soon as it is no longer needed. We regularly delete copies held by Netlify and in our email inbox.
Reviews via Trustpilot
A review box from Trustpilot A/S (Copenhagen, Denmark) is embedded at the bottom of every page. To display it, your browser loads content from widget.trustpilot.com; Trustpilot receives technical data such as your IP address and the page visited. You only submit a review if you click the box and write it on the Trustpilot website; Trustpilot's privacy policy then applies.
No tracking cookies
Fonts are loaded from our own server. This website currently does not use any tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can at any time request information about your data, have it corrected or deleted and withdraw your consent. To do so, write to info@neutrale-versicherungsberatung.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
